TruID

TruID

PortWise TruID is a software based solution providing strong multi-factor authentication to applications and services. PortWise TruID is unique as it does not require the organisation to purchase, distribute and maintain expensive hardware tokens for each user. With PortWise TruID you can utilise hardware that the user already has, such as a mobile phone, PC, pager, or PDA, to deliver strong one-time passwords.

Multi Factor Authentication
PortWise TruID is based on industry standards to guarantee operability with existing applications and security infrastructure. Any application, router, firewall or gateway that supports RADIUS can utilise strong multi-factor authentication from PortWise. Support for non-RADIUS applications is provided through the PortWise web services based SOA interface. PortWise TruID includes the following authentication mechanisms:

  • PortWise Web Password -
A Java-based online password keypad that runs in the user's web browser.
  • PortWise Mobile Text -
Combines a static password with a one-time password delivered to a mobile phone, PDA, pager or laptop.
  • PortWise Soft Token -
A JAVA based security client for generating one-time-passwords.
  • PortWise OATH -
Integrated authentication with OATH compliant hardware or software security tokens.
  • PortWise Password -
Provides a basic authentication service based on static passwords.
  • 3rd Party Authentication Support -
PortWise integrates with external authentication infrastructure making it easy to leverage existing investments.
